A History of Acorn Comics
Acorn Comics technically started in 2019, when I was in 1st grade in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I drew superhero comics in my exercise book, sometimes as full comic books in my journals and sketchbooks. I drew the last one of these in 2020. Soon, in 2021, I made a comic book which changed the way I thought about comics: THE WOLF SAGA. There are six stories of this series, being each about four pages long. The series was about three silly wolves, named Grey, Bigear, and Flamefur. In 2023, MINECRAFT was written. It is now posted on this website, so check it out if you want. In a little while, I made a comic strip called Bill Misspell, about a reporter named, you guessed it, Bill Misspell. He always mixes up what he says or accidentally makes it have an alternate (and embarrassing) meaning. Then Chips comes onto the stage in 2024. Since then, I have been continuing the Chips and Minecraft series.
THE ACORN COMICS LOGO
The Acorn Comics logo originally had no yellow ring, had all capital letters, and the text was oriented in a circle around the central design, making the “Comics” be upside down. I soon changed it for Chips and this website to make it more legible.
