Unpublished Chips Dailies (With Commentary)
These strips were made as the first page of ‘Camp Chips’, a collection of strips about camping. However, there were not enough strips to complete a whole collection, so I abandoned the project. The first strip I don’t like because Chips and Leo seemed to understand each other, which I try to avoid. As for the second, the joke was a little dull and sarcastic. The third one I enjoy more than the other two, as the joke is told with minimal words and is easy to understand. The two illustrations on the bottom, Cinders sunbathing in the flashlight beam and the small yellow tent, are rather good and the top one is a joke in itself. I have used a similar concept to the same top illustration in Chips: The TV Show (an animated feature which I will soon post) and I may use it again in a future daily strip. On the next page of this collection, the two illustrations are Ollie in a kayak and an archery target.

The Best of Chips Announcement
I am going to start work on an all-digital book called The Best of Chips. It will be a collection of my personal favourite dailies and Sunday strips, all redone in pens! This compilation will not be easy to draw, though, as it can take up to four days to redraw a single Sunday strip, added on to the time it takes to constantly draw my regular pencil-drawn strips. As well as this book, I am also working on Minecraft Volume Five, a collection of Chips Sunday strips, and Chips Volume Three.
